In keeping with element8’s rapid growth, CEO Alex Clark has announced the ramp-up of its software development activities in India, with plans to double headcount in 2010.
Element8, who first started working in India three years ago, with a sales and marketing division, established its R&D product development center in Bangalore, India in 2008.
“We are constantly ramping up our outstanding Indian team and they are a vital part of our worldwide business,” said Andrew Loveless, VP of EMEA.
The company has also made changes at the organizational level by appointing a new General Manager for its India operations, Rajesh Krishnan.
Rajesh has been with element8 for 3 years and will oversee all activity at the Bangalore site.
The R & D center forms the core of the software development work within element8 and has been central to the creation of the unique xpoint™ business application.
Rajesh’s role will involve ensuring cohesion between the future market needs of transformation systems and the product roadmap being implemented by the software development team.
